Three distinctive designs from the inaugural Sophie Paterson wallcovering collection form the foundation of the capsule artwork collection. A fresh palette of tender washed mineral hues infers a defined air of sobering femininity and absolute calm. Hand-painted on silk infrastructures by artists skilled in the ancient craft of Chinese silk painting, the collection is framed in England, using hand-selected wooden frames in a textured bronze hue, for added warmth and aureate touch. Finished without glass to protect the integrity of the silk grain, allowing the movement and emotion of the painting to be uninhibited and wholly immersive.
Each design is available in two sizes, with varying compositions, allowing for the pieces to be hung singularly, or to sympathetically coordinate as a diptych or triptych. Every piece is numbered and backed with a certificate of authenticity.
