Established in 1929 in Birmingham, England by Harold McGrail, a local brass founder - Armac Martin began by manufacturing reproduction furniture fittings. Navigating the business through the turbulence of the twentieth century, Harold successfully led the business for 59 years, until his retirement in 1988, when his son Bryan succeeded him in leading the business.
Steering Armac in a new direction, Bryan paved avenues for exportation and travelled extensively throughout America, Australia and New Zealand; opening the corridors for export markets and collaborating with our allied partners. A dedicated business endeavour until his own retirement in the nineties, Armac Martin are still exporting to many of Bryan's original offshore distributors, all most thirty years on. A fourth-generation family owned and run business, heritage and authenticity are at the core of the operation. Now led by Harold's grandsons Paul and Mark, the business continues to develop through the uncompromising values and ethics instilled by their grandfather.
